Blodget Canyon in the Bitterroot Range of Montana
Pastor Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Dickinson State University, in Dickinson North Dakota. He received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University, in Ames Iowa. Dr. Horton practice veterinary medicine in western Montana for 20 years. His practice included many species of domestic and exotic animals like beef and dairy cows, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, dogs and cats, and even bobcats and musk ox. In the latter years of his veterinary practice he worked bi-vocationally as a veterinary practitioner and pastor in the small community in which he lived. Eventually he traveled to Chicago to receive his Masters of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary. The last 20 years of his life of been set apart to careful study for solid biblical teaching. Dr. Horton brings a unique skill to the interpretation of the Scriptures because of his extensive biological and medical training as well as his years of experience as a business owner.
